Dirt Anyone????

My friend Julie and I decided that we wanted to give the Ol'tent camping a try with the kids. We talked it over with Doug and Todd and they were all for it. So on Monday we headed about 30min. north to an area called,"Big Sandy". I definately know why it is called Big Sandy, I think I am still finding dirt on Jake..:)

We only stayed one night but it definately was a full 24 hours. Due to all the unknowns Luke had his first overnighter with Gma Terri and Gpa John. We will give him a shot at tent camping on our next trip!

We were able to do some hiking while we were there. This is a picture of Doug and Jake at the top of Fresno Dome. Due to all of the fires in our area the view wasn't as clear as usual.

The battery died in our car so Todd brought THE Diesel over to give us a jump! Needless to say Doug and I were a little stressed until we heard the purr of our engine....
