Gone Fishin'

The first weekend of May Bass Lake hosts a fishing Derby. The prize fish is worth $25,000!!!! Doug has fished in it several times but this was the first year for Jenn's family to fish in The Derby. So Saturday morning Jenn's parents, Gpa Will, Doug and Jake headed out to the lake to try and catch the Big One. Sorry to report that no fish were caught but they sure had a good time trying. Jake was soooo excited to use his new fishing pole from Gpa John. The real exciting news is that the Derby weekend is also known as opening weekend of The Lake. So needless to say, "Let the boating begin!!!!!!"
