Today we got a phone call from our neighbors The Solomons that they found a Very Large dead Mountain Lion just behind their property. So Doug,Jake, and I went with them to check it out. We are not sure how it died but it looked like it had been really recently. It was unbelievable the size of it! Doug thinks it probably weighed almost two hundred pounds!! I took several pics but many too graphic for the blog. I could not believe the size of its teeth and paws. Thought you guys would be interested since most of us have never seen one in the wild in person.
Many of you have asked what kind of wildlife we have here and now we can say for certain WE HAVE MOUNTAIN LIONS!!! AHHHH :)
Doug and Eric moving trees out of the path so we could get the Rhino through the forest. It was very Indiana Jones ride!!

Both dogs are inside unless we are outside with them :)
