Tonight Jake and I got together with our new neighbors for a regular summer event called "Jazz on the lake". Basically it is like our music in the park except it is on the lake. If you have a boat you anchor off of The Pines resort, if you don't, they have a huge patio. There were a couple of Jazz bands there and at the end of the night there was a huge fireworks show. The fireworks were the finale to summer.
Our neighbors, The Solomans have a party barge so Jake and I hung out with them and their friends. Everyone was so nice and so welcoming. We had a blast!!! If you are wondering where Doug and Luke were, Doug started his first day of work today in Fresno and didn't get off until 8:30pm and Luke hung out with Great-gma and gpa. It was a perfect date night for Jake and I.... :)
