Doug and I went to the doctors today for my 18 week ultrasound. It was very exciting to see Baby Luke growing so much and doing so good in there. All of my placenta issues have corrected themselves but I began contracting more regularly last week. Per Dr Rodrigues my cervix is closed and I am not in preterm labor at this point but he gave me a prescription anyways. The medicine will help if I begin to contract and it doesn't seem to be going away. So I am off work for at least another month at this point. The Dr feels that my job is to labor intensive and my hours are too long for me to work at this point. Being off work is bitter sweet for me. I love being home with Jake but I also love delivering babies. Hopefully I will get back to work for a little while before I quit completely to be a stay at home mom!!!! Thanks to everyone for all your prayers and support :) I am trying to get a good ultrasound pic of Luke so everyone can see what a handsome guy I have in there!!!!!!

I can't wait to see pictures of little Luke! Any babies that you deliver between now and when you quit are lucky babies! You're great at what you do!
